Rosa

An elderly woman in Keystone. Emerged from Vault 44 roughly forty years before the party's own emergence, with four other clones. First met in Session 1 as a frightened girl hiding in the construction office (Silas leads her gently into the vault himself), then again as an old woman in Session 2.

Closer to sixty but weathered to eighty — jaundiced, most of her hair gone, one visibly deformed leg. Frail but sharp. Recognizes the party's vault suits instantly; freezes and speaks rapid Spanish the moment she sees Johan, calling him mi amor — her late husband was an earlier clone of Johan specifically.

Of the five clones she emerged with, two died within weeks of cloning complications, a third lasted a few years before also succumbing. Rosa and her husband survived together in the wasteland for fifteen years, married the whole time, until he was killed by super mutants near the football stadium that's now Var-city, south of Rapid City. She returned to Keystone afterward hoping to erase both their genetic profiles from the vault's records — found the tunnel back in already caved in, and her health has kept her in Keystone ever since.

• A Ring for Rosa — her request that the party look for her late husband's wedding ring if they're ever near the stadium where he died. Resolved in Session 3.
• Last Rites — her long-standing wish to have her (and her husband's) genetic profile deleted from Vault 44's records. Completed by Johan at the very start of Session 4.
• In reward for the ring, she gifts the party six items from her own scavenging collection at the start of Session 4 — see that page for the full list.
