Overview (players)

Keystone's clinic doctor. Thin, sharp-featured, middle-aged, with three near-perfectly straight scars down the left side of her face. First met in Session 2.

  • Immediately recognizes the party as vault dwellers and reacts like someone bracing to deliver bad news.
  • Explains cloning-related complications from firsthand experience treating Rosa for years, but lacks equipment on hand for real genetic analysis until the Coyote-held caravan supplies come through.
  • Runs the party's genetic sequencing at the end of Session 2: 2% drift, pointing them toward the Dakota Confederation or the Khans for further help.
  • Instantly recognizes the mayor's stolen syringe as high-end Jet, with open distaste, connecting it to a mark she'd already noticed on his arm (Session 2).

Her Story (Session 4)

Sioux, from a community that built its place in the wasteland breeding horses and bison — not a pre-war tradition, just what her people made of themselves out here. When the Dakota Confederation formed, her people joined in good faith, only to be gradually squeezed out — their breeding operations absorbed, their livelihood taken, left destitute and dependent on the people who'd displaced them.

The scars on her face aren't a wasteland accident. Decades ago she and a handful of others led a revenge attack against the Confederation for what had been done to her people; innocent people died in it; her own community banished her and the others responsible, scarring their faces as a permanent mark of what they'd done.

She's plain with the party about the scale of it: this isn't a problem a few travelers can fix, it's building toward something bigger between larger forces that's going to come to a head one way or another. She sends them off with enough radiation medicine to survive entering Rapid City.
